I have a black on black 2002 Lincoln Ls. This car will start and go but heats up after about ten minutes. I think the censors might be out as well due to the fact I got it serviced with a oil change and fluid topped off and the car was still telling me it needs an oil change.

No, of course there is no oil sensor to indicate when to change oil. It's just a mileage counter. Whoever did the oil change just didn't reset the indicator through the message center.

Thanks Joe. I swore I remembered reading that somewhere. It was discussed whether it took into account driving environment, miles, time, etc.
