Lea it's so easy..youtube it. The company I work for has a gaming department and they deal with repairs I see these guys gut a system in less than 5 minutes. Also on youtube there are other methods of trying to eject, have you tried those?
If not all you would need is a L-key and a screwdriver set with different sizes.
And from speaking with the game lab techs and looking over the motherboard of both ps3 and xbox360's..Xbox's are a piece of MS crap..Very poorly made with three variations of Mobo's Ms made and still can't correct their overheating/graphics issue.. Can't wait to see the new xbox 360's to show up lol
Yea I've done it twice already. I can take it apart like you said in about five minutes with my eyes closed. I think it's the thermal paste that I used the first two times. Cheap stuff from Best Buy is not holding up. I'm going to order some Artic Silver from Newegg and try it. Hopefully I that will do the trick. I have a 500 gig hard drive in that ps3.
