LOVE the fact that when I hold down the Unlock on the remote the windows and sunroof open! NOW it would be SWEET if it did the same for LOCK, and closed them!

What a neat little feature!

I am going to like this car! :)

I found that out too not to long ago!!

Its funny you said that but when i first purchased my car i was testing all the features and when you held down the lock the windows would close but I believe this was a glitch that happen to some of the 2000 LS and when they reprogrammed the PCM to fix the transmission problem it went away. This friend was a sad day! I know there were a few others that had this problem also.

one complaint i have about my car, is i bought it used... and didnt know about this feature.
later when a co-worker told me about this feature, i tried doing it & my key doesnt fit into the drivers side door lock. :(

i think the previous owner changed the lock or something.

the key works for the glove box/trunk/ignition, but not the door!!! :soapbox:

too bad i didnt discover it till just last year, after it was too late to go back to the dealership i got it from!!! :slam

and i asked at my local FLM dealer & they said it would probably require changing everything and it would be about $500.... wtf!!!! argue2

i am still able to roll down the windows with my unlock button, but no closing them up with the key... other than that... :L

OUCH Where they able to tell you at the FLM dealership weather or not that was the issue at hand? Still who would change all but one lock on a car, I cant see FLM doing that at all. But u never know, good luck with that one!

One oddball lock on a car is usually a sure sign that it's been in a wreck and that door / decklid has been replaced, but the body shop forgot to save the original lock cylinder. Also possible the lock was damaged by a theft attempt and replaced, but they didn't bother to re-key it to the original key. A key-check of all the locks on the car is one of the first things I do when considering a purchase.

yeah, that was it!! LOCK CYLINDER. thats what they told me would have to be replaced & to have one key work for everything, i'd end up paying over $500!!!
