all i wanted was to know if i was getting the right motor for my lsc. the rest is just repeating what i was told. i was sharing what i found out, youd have to be an idiot to not know that a true dual exhaust doesnt add more hp.and yes i am stubborn, thanks.

having fun . how about helping me make my signature pic bigger
Bigger sig pics make up for smaller... um...
Anyway. If you are replacing the engine, there are better options than going with another Mark VIII engine.

who the hell said exhaust doesnt matter AFTERMARKET is always better than stock
uhh, no its not. aftermarket is not always better.
Don't use a Gen 1 motor unless you change the valve springs.
Gen 1s didn't come with beehive springs.
I say thus cause it looks like you might race your car.
I found some Gen2 4.6 engines in your area zip 33019. But I did find acouple 150 dollar Gen1 engines only 180 miles from you. You CAN use gen1 engine just swap the bolt on parts. http://car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi

thanks looks like theres a descent motor cheap 2 blocks from the shop.Im BROKE, so broke i cant pay attention, its this or i can have a reman crate motor delivered for 2500 with a 3yr 100,000 mi warranty. i just have to come up with another 1500 i think its worth it for the piece o mind,i dont know
cant find chit for 500, plus i cant keep paying for r/r reguardless what motor i use cheapest used was 850 still need water pump, plugs wires sensors, etc thats nearly 400 alone i wish i could get on the road for 1000, the core is refunded when they deliver and they take it.

The core is refunded when they get the core in shop and then make sure its rebuildable. I found 2 engines in your area that are 150.
I'll think about it. looks like every sensor, plug wires water pump, everything. there's nothing salvageable from my motor, nothing. what sucks the most is i used to be able to do all of it.having to pay anybody aggravates me. i cant even wash the top of my car. i appreciate the lookout though. somethings are better new like the sensors, pump and wires though ill check on the rest
Or you could hunt CL for another Mark, then spend $400-500 on the stuff you need to just do the r+r yourself
complete meltdown. I THINK, my temp sensor was on the fritz, i always watch the gauges i would have noticed it rising, doing about 70 in deerfield the check temp came on display with the "bing",i lookback at the gauge, right in the middle.no valve chatter no coolant smell, 5 seconds later the temp gauge moves all at once to pegged, i pull over then the valves start chattering, i get to the right shoulder, it stalls, over.smoke everywhere out the dipstick hole, the air filter, well u see the piston.heads warped . done. What in the world happened to your engine? Also in area to me means get in truck and drive there and back in 1 day. If thats in the cards I do it. If you bought a junkyard 97-98 pull out you would not have to buy anything they come ready to drop in with all sensors.
