Motor Mount Question

I have a 94 Mark VIII and the drivers side motor mount, and trans mount are pretty much shot. I get an intermittent thud when I leave a light under moderate acceleration. I called the dealer the original Hydraulic mounts are no longer availible, and I've tried Anchor mounts in the past and they never worked well. What are you guys running? The anchor mounts are the same part number for passenger and Driver could I use a passenger side Mark 8 Mount and just swap the mount into a driver side bracket I figure that probably has to be in good shape?

I just purchased scp solid rubber mounts for my motor as did markviiiedrea.

Does it transmit a lot of vibration?

Anchor mounts are not good enough, tried it before.

So did any of you guys install the new mounts yet? If you did what do you think?

Can't tell a difference, I just know one of my old ones was junk. I've got a little more vibration but I think it's from my headers and not NVH.

Just don't buy fluid mounts. You'll be fine.

I find it weird that everyone doesn't like the fluid mounts. I'm finally changing the original one and I have 186k on my car. Weird part is its loose intermittently...

I just changed the factory ones after 245k, they work fine but when they fail they motor really flops around.
