I have an '89 LSC, rough but ready. Will a later model SE dash cluster (with a 120 mph indication) work properly in place of my 85 mph lump? I saw a cheap one for sale on eBay but don't want to waste the time or money for nothing.
My rear seatback is not flush with the front of the rear shelf and I can't seem to figure out how to raise it and hook it into the catch back there. That gap is driving me CRAZY even though no one rides back there.
My dash lights work only for a few seconds when I open the door. When I turn on my lights, it is like a black hole, particularly when driving at night, as I can't see how fast I am going. Also, I can't adjust the climate controls because I can't see them, either. Maybe related, my temperature guage has never moved from below the cold reading.
I did replace the leaking gas tank, and the fuel guage seems to be fairly accurate, as is the DTE reading. The fuel guage seems to have a mind of its own, though as it moves to and fro when I accelerate or make a turn. It does return to the correct position after the car settles straight.
Any help in these areas would be greatly appreciated, and I really enjoy reading the threads here. I love this site!
