Hello everyone. I've been stumped with my LS and I was hoping someone here had the same problem and they could tell me whats wrong. So I had oil leaking on my coils so I fixed the gasket and changed the coils and spark plugs. But now when I start my car it takes around 6 seconds to start and there is a strong gas sent (It's done this since the day i got it.) There isn't a gas leak but I'm wondering if it could be a fuel injector. Also i have one of those car chips that go into the computer and it told me that nothing is wrong. But anyway if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

1) What octane gas are you using?
2) Changed gas filter?
3) maybe it is a fuel injector. But I'm sure it'll be noticeable while the engine is running (correct me if I'm wrong here)

It's normal for cars to run rich at start up. Just as long as its not so much that a match could turn the area into a fireball.

I'm using 91 octane and I haven't tied changing the gas filter but i might as well give it a shot.

Leaking fuel injectors are often only noticed at startup.
