My $300 LS build

Hahaha, funny thing is I dont have time to be bored haven't had a real day off in almost 2 years, I hqve a day job and own 5 companies. But a few hours a week on the lincoln wont hurt, plus it will soon be one of my company cars. So everything is a tax write off
 
But I also waste zero time on meaningless bs like television. Haven't owned or watched a tv in almost 3 years now.
 
So I guess you relax by "modding" the LS??? I wish I had your time. I've worked out of town for almost the last 3 years straight. Finally got some time off to catch up on car and truck repairs,,, while at the same time cleaning up the shop/garage... finishing the basement and and organizing more stuff than one man should have.

Obviously you "pay yourself",,, so that leaves personal time for hobbies. Even with the "day job". Is it alright if I admit I'm jealous, (but not green with envy)???

If I could win the lottery for only a million,,, which I don't normally play, (maybe 10 times in 50 years), that'd give me 600 grand after taxes. Pay off the house and buy me a new truck... and the rest would go to charity.

I don't want an "easy life", (i'd still keep working), but just to be free from debt. At this point,,, I'm gonna have to work 7-10's for 3 months just to put a new roof on the house, (over 15 grand).

Actually I've (we've. My business partner and I) have never paid ourselves a single dime. All money goes back into one of the companies. I sleep usually 2-3hrs a night. Stay awake all weekend get off day job at 10:30 fri night and usually go to bed around 10pm on Sunday. Haha
 
I intentionally live my life like a college student with no tuition assistance. Haha
People often ask why i work a day job, thats simple. I'll be 32 this coming Saturday, with a goal to retire at 35. Also we agreed to keep our day jobs untill, we can pay our first employee a minimum of 50k a year, because thays what we believe a starting salary should be. Also untill one of our companies can donate 1 million cash to someone or multiple people in need.

Ahhhh, I believe you don't watch much tv, your day job and that was about it.
 
Still confused what you are getting at? I'll assume you are skeptical about my life as most people who dont know me personally are. Haha
 
Just bare with me here .... it's that time of the month for me again! Usually only lasts a week or so.

No need to explain yourself, I live an incredibly interesting life. Most people who don't know me on a personal level think im full of shit. Mostly because i dont go out telling everyone my business. We grind day in and day out in silence. And some people just can't handel the fact that a couple young, bearded, tattooed guys are actually trying to do something with their lives.

It is too bad that more people realize and live up to this. You cant even punish your own kids anymore. I forget who, but an NFL player was suspended for the remainder of a season for spanking his kid with a stick. The details were not specific, but maybe the kid needed his butt whipped to actually learn his lesson. The world sees any punishment as evil. If more politicians had some common sense beat into their heads when they were young, the US would be in better shape. Unfortunately, parents are told to embrace their kids own independence and should not punish their kids for "being who they are." What a load of garbage. The other day, a radio announcer was trying to kiss up to his 4 yr old who told him to "dad, just go to work". The announcers co-host said "yeah, and in a couple years they will be telling everyone you are the worst parent ever." Maybe the kids would not hold this view if they had learned something from their parents both by example and getting their butts whipped when necessary. I know this is a rant, but it is very, very sad to see the lack of respect and false values kids my age hold. I am "privledged" to grow up in the "age of prosperity" where all the kids only have themselves in mind. I get to be the one to see my generation finish taking this nation that is on its knees, and kick it into the ground, dead.

It's refreshing to hear that you see your Cupcake generation being just that....Cupcakes...but you my brother give me hope...I see there is still ppl in your generation that have a backbone...work ethic ...and of course the most precious thing in the world....COMMON SENSE...I just brought a 23 year old kid on my crew...boy,,,what an eye opener ...he is the type that thinks ...."What would I do without Alexis?" I'm trying to instill in him the " Mind Frame" GET OFF YOUR ASS AND TURN THE LIGHT ON YOURSELF!!! I can see he is changing slowly but surely the last 6 months he's worked with me so there is hope...but thanks for realizing that in an age where humans have never had it easier...you see that today's generation needs to get off the Ipads and get there hands blistered with some good old fashioned manual labor...it's amazing how good old fashion work has changed this kid in only 6 months

I know, hard work is very good for you. I grew up on a farm, and was milking our cows and doing the chores myself by the time I was 12. I didnt grow up with electronics- just got a phone at 16- not being used to technology is probably one of the best things my parents gave to me. It allowed me to work hard, not worrying about texting people, or going on social media.

It is too bad some of those politicians dont get some common sense. If our politicians actually had to work to where they are, rather than be born into a rich family, they mighy have some work ethic and see how the lives of common people actually are, rather than trying to make laws for a country when they dont understand the people of this country.

The people of my generation want everything handed to them on a silver platter, if a socialist ever becomes POTUS, I guess we will know why.
Good for you, keep kicking that guy into shape, someone has to do it.:)
Edit- As a republican female politician said " the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."
