My 93 Mark VIII just got at $375 Ticket!!!

I generally drive the speed limit

There's just no point in driving faster unless you are on a very very long trip.

seriously.. why bother, your not shaving any time off the trip.
sit back, enjoy the ride and save the speeding for the dragstrip where it actually "counts..and matters".

I have been thinking again about getting a gen 2 and giving him a good deal on the 93.

I won't give it to him but will sell it for cheap.
He is working and could make payments it would be a good learing lesson.

His grades need to come up first, its a non stop battle with him, he is too much like the old man.

He dosen't know this but I have a plan to put the car into the 13s, and have a plan to slowly collect the parts needed as I find what I need and I have the cash.
I have the 4:10s. A converter and a rebuilt trans are in the mix.

Sounds like the kid is not as innocent as you seem to think.;) Time to pull some plugs and make the car chug along.

Might also want to consider dropping a few condoms in the purse if you know what I mean.:eek:
 
i got a $976 ticket, 12 cop cars and clocked at 94 over, going 129 in a 35, put in jail for 2 days over thanksgiving and when i was asked what i was running from i just told them i was having a little fun and clumpf when the cuffs, car was in the impound for a week cause the people who ran it were on vac, then another $ later i got my car back 120

Tickets suck, but here in OH, they give you crap for going 2 over! It is a racket between the cops and the insurance company. We cant even take classes to drop points off....OH bites!

I got a $189 ticket in Milwaukee in November. 16 over on the Freeway. Went to court and got it reduced to speedometer violations. For another hundred dollars I could have got it reduced to Parking in a No Parking zone. Basically if you pay a high enough fine almost any moving violation becomes a parking violation. Legalized bribery and keeps the money coming in.
