Unfortunately these cars were well out of my price range when I started driving..even the oldest mark was probably in the $8-10k price range at the time..amazing what 10 years will do to the value of a mark viii.

Welcome, I've been into the Lincoln scene since I was 14...and have been pushing them since I was 18...I'll be 27 next week and have owned alot of Marks.

I'm all about racing them and put a tremec 5 speed in my mark vii when i was in my early 20's...would love to put a 6 speed in the 97..bought MN12 pedals last week. :shifty:

Do what you want to...its your car, you dont need a Mustang to be one of the "cool" guys....

Some gears, JMOD, and a tuner on the car and it'll make it much better for getting around town.

oh nothings wrong with that
but oneve youve got the gears the exhaust and the tune, then you want a converter, and a cobra intake, and kooks and and and...:lol:
really not a bad problem to have, if you'd call it that, but it gets expensive

Ain't that the truth! I go to 4 different yards around me and each of them has had Mark VIII's in the past. Well, I went to 3 of the 4 and NOT ONE has a single Mark VIII. When I asked about them, I got the same response, they have ALL BEEN CRUSHED!
