my driver side door wont open from inside

all of a sudden my driver side door doesn't wanna open from the inside can anyone help me out i found it weird when i tried to open it and i had to pull the lever 2 times now it just wont open at all

The tab on the handle usually breaks. You can try to super glue it but when it happened to me I had to replace the handle.

For a couple days I just rolled down the window to get out.

Agreed. A new inside handle is in order. Industrial strength glue may hold, for a while.
