My new Collectors Edition DUW

Here are some pics of my new CE. I bought it from a member here, Fatboyq. Great guy, and very easy to deal with.

I drove 3 hours up to Chicago after work last night and brought it home. I was very tired by the time we finally pulled in the driveway around 1am. Definately worth it though.

Here are a couple pics I took today.

These are some pictures I took After I sensor Lowered it After work. It actually went REALLY easy because someone had already had it sensor lowered in the past and had already drilled the hols in the brackets in the front. I think all in all it took less than an hour, and after working an 8 hour day I wasnt moving to quickly lol.

These are the last ones I took today. These were after I clay barred and wax it. It looks amazing now.

I was VERY busy today wirh cleaning, sensor lowering, and waxxing, but all in all it turned out great and I love it.


There are a couple things I want to add\change, but its nothing I cant handle.

Yes, thank god. The CE is actually hers, but will be my DD because her work parking lot is like bumper cars and Id rather keep the CE in good shape. Who cares if the vic gets hit, I have insurance, and parts are easier to find.

k9? This is like watching internet porn. I'm glued to the pics & YES, I saved some of them in my MARKVIII pic file. You my friend got a beautiful car. There's one identical to yours 85 miles south of me in teh Florida Keys, saw it while on vacation. Offered the guy a swap for my $5,000 waverunner. He said no! DAMN IT! One day, one day I say!

K9 congrats on the purchase I have to say that is one nice looking CE. One thing that I like about them is the woden extras like the steering wheel and shifter. Great looking car I hope you enjoy it. Alex I believe we all have a Mark8 picture file, lol!!!

I took the plunge yesterday and flew out to Lexington, KY and came back with a C5. I wanted a GTO for the rear seat etc... however after seeing this C5 I had to have it. I will be buying a cheaper car to haul the kids around in.

God I missed banging gears! as nice as the LSC was, I just had to get back into a manual car.
