Tubes are back from powdercoating. Got the new 3.6" Reichard Racing pulley installed on the S/C and the new Manual tensioner as well.

This pulley should spin the big F1 to a max of 28-29 PSI which should be fun.

Exhaust is polished (thanks dad), and re-installed.

New level 5 Half-shafts will be installed this weekend, and hopefully, will be ready for tuning the weekend after that.

Getting excited now.

notchet......

Waiting for the new blow-through MAF sensor to get here and to get the DSS halfshafts installed.

It's taking longer than normal because of work, and my apprinticeship classes.

HOPEFULLY in a week or two it'll be heading to the tuner's shop.

Did that already use the slot style maf or did you convert it over for the blow through?

before someone notices the bolt tru clamps will be turned to a safe position after we get the belt on and as the hair dryer has to come off. 108 bucks worth of clamps but better than have the screw clamps come losse. question what is the proper name for screw hose clamps? i know they are named for the inventor an aussie but have forgot it. just a point of order.

97 the maff sensor on the old setup was destoryed when the screw clamp let go from to much boost or from being loose. it also punched a hole in the inner fender cover. so we tigged the adapter for the new maff in the pipeing system. at the time this happened we didn't know that it was destoryed and drove it for about 50 miles. wonder why it was running rich as hell. when we tore it down we found the plastic strightening vanes blown to hell. what was left of it.

Ill mention it to the owner of the car once he gets over the sticker shock of everything else I've done.

;)

Is he a LVC hommie?

Does his first name begin with a K ?

Did he ever has issues with a c clip in a IRS? :)

....humor doesn't go far on here does it

I probably shouldn't answer what you post with a beer or two in ya when I have a beer or two in me because your humor went right over my head on that one!

No biggie - carry on! :)

Sorry for the thread tangent, OP - Nice build you got going on there!

Done for the day.....

Got the charger in place and torqued down, belt installed and manual tensioner set. Boost tubes are in place and clamped down. Hydroboost is put back together, and installed as well.

Still have to get the Fuel Pumps wired, fender skirts installed, and various NPT plugs installed in the fuel system.

But this is how it will look from now on.

Danke.......

It's been interesting. I'm looking forward to hitting WOT through 1-2-3-4 and 5th. Not really 6th because of the convertible/wind thing.

The Driveshaft Shop.

Level 5 shafts and Pro Level CVs

Same thing I got basically in my WRX but I got em used after they were sent in for end of season check up. So they are the only part of my car that has gone low 9's :(

Great parts come from DSS
