My New Winter Look *Might Hurt Your Eyes*

They were a pain to paint coming from black. Lots of primer was needed to prep them fully

lol looks great. Id rock that for sure. I have been thinking about painting the wheels on my DD some crazy color just to raise eyebrows.

I had orange on my Civic once

LOL

My civic is the best daily driver that I've ever owned....hands down.

I guess that depends on your definition of "best".

If it's judged solely on gas mileage, then maybe it's the best you've ever owned.

If you are judging on styling, quality, power, features, ride, handling, luxury, or safety, then I'd have to respectfully disagree.

Aww Jeez, not this sh$t again.
Well, most people are going to defend the cars they own, or the things they like lol.

The civic Has 112,000 miles on it, and has only needed oil changes and a hub bearing under factory recall.... THAT'S IT. Every thread I read on here someone is having some kind of issue it seems....coils, motor mounts, timing chains, blown up motors, etc. All hundreds of dollars, or even thousands of dollars. I drive >35k miles a year.... I couldn't afford to drive a car that required those kinds of repairs. Just sayin'.

I would not call the collective LS owners of LVC the "majority" of LS owners. A LOT of people find online forums when something goes wrong with their car. Also, more people tend to come online to bitch about problems with a car. When everything is going smoothly, they don't say anything. One of those "out of sight, out of mind" things.

You are right about repairs being more expensive for a luxury car than an econobox. And it's something that everyone has to think about with regards to a car you put a lot of miles on.

I have 167K on my LS right now.

For what it's worth 90% of these members who are complaining about their cars everyday also have Gen1's, most of which are 2000's, which are very prone to breaking.

I haven't had any major problems with my LS. All general maintenance for a car of this age

That and everyone that I know that has owned one has bitched about the 3.9 more than once. It's pretty much a split between people saying it's the best car that they have ever owned, or the worst car they have ever owned. Don't get me wrong, I really like the car, but I like to play both sides :p
This car gets more complients than any car that I have ever owned as far as the way it looks and sounds. It's one of the slowest "FUN" cars that's I've owned, but it's nice being able to bring the kid along LOL.

Again... maybe the best you've owned.... But i'd put any of my previous maximas against your civic as a better daily driver (not against the LS, just the civic)..

I got nothing against civics but Maximas are nicer. theyre on the road just as long to.
Now back to the wheels. I give ya mad kudos for doing something different and off the beaten path. Its for sure NOT the worst thing someone has done to an LS!

Maximas are one of the nicest fwd family cars out there...and you can get a maxima with rwd and a V8 on but as an Infiniti.

Altimas are too.

My buddy had a 94 Integra in high school...that was a cool car back then. reliable and good on gas too. Wasnt very fast but had a nice system and wheels and a sunroof....total chick magnet at that age.

Are they wheels?

I just bought a full second set of RR's and I'm half considering finding one more single rim and having one set powder coated for a winter setup.
