Geno, I got some work to do right now but I think I am going to have some fun with you tonight. Hey, maybe you could get Kerry to shoot Bush in the back (Kerry seems to be pretty adept at that) when he isn't busy shooting himself in the foot.

That was a nice read. NOT!

I failed to see any supporting proof that President Bush cut the troops pay as you have claimed. I'll be patient. I know its a great big world wide web out there. Surely some wacked out lefty web site will have it on their site in black and white. Probably in pdf format too so it can easily mailed to all the kool-aid drinkers.

Bush did not vote to cut our pay, there was a special bonus that's been in effect, which only raises our Family separation pay, from 100 a month to 250 a month, this was a special due to the amount of troops who were deployed over 90 days. When this special pay benefit was signed into action, it was well known to us that it would be repealed, and that was supposed to have happened on Oct 1st,( I dont think it was repealed). So, he gave us a benefit and told us it would only last so long. Anything extra is great. And to help clarify, the money that Kerry voted against for the war was also going to be used to help pay us and to armor our vehicles. So, Kerry actually screwed us. And, be careful writing about assasination, because you can get in deep trouble for that. BELIEVE ME, YOUR POST HAS BEEN READ. I am 'Big Brother', and the Secret Service takes those things pretty seriously. I dont wanna see anyone go to jail.

Before you go off the deep end about troops pay, ask one. Bush also voted in the largest pay raise for the military in over 40 years.... No one mentions that Bill Clinton for 8 years denied us more than the mandatory 3.4% Cost of living raise. Bush gave us over 7%. And as anyone knows, even if we had all the money we wanted, the vehicles dont put on the armor plate, it takes along time to armor 1 truck, imagine how many there are out there. I was a HMMWV (hummer) Mech for 4 years.

This country wouldn't be so divided if the media would just shoot straight and give people the info without the spin.
 
I appreciate everyone's views, and I can see valid points on both sides. I would CRY LIKE A GIRL if Geno got hauled off to jail. But we need more straight shooting media. Fox is right, everyone else is left. No one is down the center. It's too bad. People hear a one sided story and go off on a tangent. I say make Kerry release his Service records, why does he want to hide them so bad??? We werent getting oil from Iraq anyway, so you cant say this is about the oil (that the French were stealing from the UN) I say let Bush and Kerry fight it out.

Changing your post doesn't really change what you said. I was 11 when JFK was assassinated. That image is still with me today.

As strongly as I dislike just about everything that GWB stands for I believe that your statement goes well beyond what this society stands for. Please keep those thoughts to yourself.
