We're not as far apart as you think. I know you want to do the right thing. I want to do the right thing at the right time. Now is not the time for isolating ourselves. Now is the time to build up our defenses which includes mending some international fences.
You'll have to admit that 9/11 happened on GWB's watch and the misinformation filtered through people that he appointed. GWB's business is just like my business in that I am ultimately responsible for the decisions that my employees make. I can't just walk away from a job and claim that my people made mistakes.
Just so you know, this is what I am for:
Smaller government
Lower taxes
Less regulation
Sounds like a Republican, right?
Here's what else I'm for:
A woman's right to choose (I believe this to be a critical issue)
Environmental responsibility (GWB doesn't get it)
Fiscal responsibility (Pay as you go has always worked for me)
Social responsibility (I'd love to see a workable Affirmative Action that gets back to it's roots)
Separation of Church and State (I believe that this administration, not necessarily the Republican Party, has already crossed the line)
Fetal Stem Cell Research (WTF are the opponents thinking? This is truly a case that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few)

In actuality I'm nothing but a free thinker who looks at things on an individual basis. My ideal may be based solely on my reality, which may be different than yours.
You are obviously an intelligent person. I don't agree with the extremes you portray yet I read your posts. I'm curious as to whether you read anyone elses posts, sometimes. There have been many valid points made on both sides, but you never seem to acknowledge any opposing point of view.
You claim that I personally attacked you yet you repeatedly attack anyone that opposes your point of view. Your credibility suffers when you go too far.
