For the first time since 2001 it's street legal again!

Started out as a rust bucket someone has used as daily driver, been stolen once etc.
And today after 4 years of restoration work it's streetlegal. Read, not finished. But legal ;)
Has some interior work I need to do and some minor things.
Worth mentioning, which I was at the car inspection there was a beautiful Mark Vii LSC right infront of me. An old man owned it. Cool with two fox bodies in the same place in Sweden! Loved the Mark Vii!
But overall, jesus christ tears in my eyes! So beautiful :gr_hail:

Now I belive my focus can be turned towards my Mark which needs some love

bad ass bird....ive always wanted a fox body...my favorite one has to be the mustang 5.0 lx trunk the one the state troopers used.

Your Tbird wants me to get my ass in gear and get mine done

I have plans for it....manual swap, 306 fuel injected, mustang cobra independent rear suspension and a s trim vortec

That's awesome! But the text says it's an 89 and the pics shows an 87-88

I Like. Very nice.

Very nice.

Cheers guys :)

Thanks mate! :) You're thinking of the notchbacks. Fabulous rides! But I think I like the T-bird more than the Mustangs. Especially the dashes, uuugh. The Mustangs looks like a Ford Escort xD

Love the t-bird and what size tires are you running cuz they look very meaty

They're 255/60-15. Love the height on them! The way it should be

Sounds healthy... what mods do you have?

It's pretty much basic stuff. The engine is pretty much rebuilt to a Mustang engine and then ported, cammed and other small things like AC delete etc. Got a holley upper and lower intake manifold in box I'm gonna put on when I get new heads for the engine :)

Looks sweet! Might want to lower it one inch all around.

Ooooh no I wont! I love the muscle car look when it's high off the ground! :)
I absolutley love that look ^^

That's a nice 'Bird! Put a Turbo Coupe front clip on it and lower it an inch or two and she'd be perfect! :)

I've been thinking about the TC front clip but if I would grab anything from a TC it's the hood. Although there's not many TC's in Sweden because everyone wants V8 here. Having a turbo 4banger in american iron isn't really popular around here

OMG You just made me miss my Fox-body Birds! Very nice.

Cheers mate! :) Go out and buy a new Fox bird ;)

Looks great man! Love seeing more fox body T-birds! :) You didn't hijack it at all! :)
Love the idea of putting IRS on it, looking forward to seeing it!
I see you havn't touched the engine bay ;) Looks like a swiss cheese! Amazing how many holes Ford could actually drill in a single engine bay. I think my father welded shut over 100 holes in my engine bay. Incredible...

Give it a try. Wetsand it, polish it and then wax them ;) I think you can make them shine if you put alot of effort to it ^^

Oh yes!
My friend was photoshooting the car so we'll see when he's done with the pics and I'll upload them here! :)

An update on this car if you people don't mind me bumping the thread! :)
It's time to get abit serious with this car.
N/A isn't enough so I bought myself a Procharger D1 over at Corral.net
The guy selling it was the best ever! It's still in america, getting shipped from a friend of ours within a few weeks.
Here's pics of the beast! :)

Also recieved an email from him telling me he threw in a power pipe for running without the intercooler with a brand new Greddy BOV attached to it!

And I ordered two OMP race seats with 4 point seat belts. Will be picking those up tomorrow, pics coming then! :)

Thanks mate!
It's quite fun having a car noone else have :) Everyone in Sweden are so obsessed by Mustangs/Camaros/Corvettes that these cars barely exists here :)

Forgot the pic of the seats and seatbelts!
