Can anyone confirm if the gen 2 mirrors are plug-n-play on a gen 1 ?

Great to see its getting back together. Are they going to get rid of the pinstriping on the door for you too? IIRC The mirrors are plug-n-play. Copy-cat.

Flash, pop the hood, take bolts out of the fender, open door, theres one or two thru there, drop the rocker, there are 2 or 3 there. Fender comes off

Pin-strip was going to stay on because on the panels that had the pin-strip were clear coated on but my paint guy is taking car of that he's repainting the whole side now that's why it's taking so long

I was trying to buy a pair of Gen 2 mirrors from a guy on here who said he had some from an LS he was parting out but he never got back to me with shipping. I had saved the instructions on my desktop a while ago from LSkoncepts on how to do them but now it won't work because of the site being down. Should of printed them.

Crap as Rollin said it should be plug-n-play, I myself will test it out when I get my car back and will report back.

Update

Well I got the LS back but only for a day I took the LS to my mechanic yesterday, Im getting the coolant system overhauled as it 90 degree weather already here in Fl not taking any chances!


Another rear chrome surround color matched because the other one started to peel and bubble

Roof spoiler color matched

I will have a proper photo shoot sometime next week, sorry for the crapola pics

Out and about on monday afternoon at the beach shooting some pics....when i see a Ls drive past me and he's shifting gears (manual)

So I waive him down and we talked about the site and cars in general very cool guy, Took a few pics together.

So yesterday on my way home I spot another silver Ls v6 5spd at this point im like wtf! haha, So I chase this other guy down, Pull him over and were talking about our car's and another Ls pulls up Took a few more pics....

I would really Like to get some what of LVC chapter for the Tampa Bay area as there a lot more Ls's around here lately.

It's crazy im telling you lol it has been an intresting week so far, we are all going to meet up sometime next week and have a mini photo-shoot at the beach

I think one of the guys has joined but has not posted on the forum yet and the other two im not sure on just yet. I really do hope to get some more LS's on board it would be pretty cool to get a LVC chapter going here.
