I want to install a 100 shot on my ls but want advice from other members who have done this on what else I will need to do to the car when installing it..such as spark plugs ect.
... eventually do more custom work such as supercharger ect. But for now I just want to spray it and see how it does...

some people believe nitrous is like a smoking hot girl with an STD, you know you want to hit it hard, but your afraid of the consequences.
So you don't think that I could get a tune from they guy everyone talks about up here? Or you think it would not be as good as a dyno tune?
exactly, its really no more dangerous than any other major power adder. it all in how you do it, just like with a gun, its easy to shoot yourself in the foot with it if you dont know what you are doing. most of the problems you see with it are because, like everything else in life, cheap parts failing, poorly done installations, or just going to big on a stock ass motor. kinda like the kid who turbo'd his car with home depot parts (dont know why we haven't hear from him in months :shifty shotty half ass attempts at cobbling together a system for pocket change will always end badlyNOS isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be
ive seen two fords(stock as a rock, wife type cars) back fire and blow chunks out of the composite intakes, freak sh!t does happens, but no reason to be too worried about it. a good quality system is plenty safe (well with in reason, nobody's spraying a motor just to get up to the 45mph speed limit, going fast enough to need to spray isn't the safest place to start )but I still wouldn't run it. There have been 3 or 4 guys here that have ran it since I've been here. One of them had an issue where he blew up the airbox at the strip. That being said there are still a lot of variables even with a good tune and that's why I won't run it.

NOS isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
Pretty soon the new guys says 'Man, it runs great with that little pill, bet it'll run even better with a bigger one'
Change little pill, rinse and repeat. Pretty soon the 100 shot is a 150 or 200 without the fuel and timing to keep the engine alive.
Bigrigls why would it not be worth it? Because you think so? Would you rather see my ls with a body kit and a big wing? Please let me know why it's not worth it.
This is why nitrous is a fail for me. Dude's car was in his garage doing nothing, didn't even get the satisfaction of blowing it on the track...
