all my buttons on my climate control are broken does anyone have an extra one? for a 93

I have a FLAWLESS one from a 97 that will fit your application just fine. Just PM me an offer and I will send it to ya Monday. :)

So, if anyone wants a CHERRY one then PM me.

If anyone is putting 97 Mark VIII climate controls in their 93's or 94's and they are working, you are lucky. This is not normal but I'm not going to say it's impossible.

Laser, you should try your CC in sapps car and see what happens. It will either work or it will turn the blower motor on full blast when the key is turned on. If it works, then I would feel good about selling to someone with a 93 or 94 but a 97 CC will not work in every model. I just don't see that as being possible.

And G, there is no telling what all will work in the $350 Mark lol.

Actually guys, the buttons broke on my '94 also. I fixed it cheap and quick. I had new button fronts made for the unit and simply glued them into place. I had a straight row of bottom buttons made and didn't divide them into separate buttons. (I knew I could never install them and keep them straight.) I figured that if I really needed to cut them into individual buttons, I could just take my Dremel to them and slice down between each one. I haven't needed to. Each button pushes just like it should and they even glow from behind when you turn on the lights. The fix isn't factory but if I didn't point them out you'd probably never notice them. I can have some more made up if you'd like. Just reply to this tread.

ok i have said it 8 million times and this will be the last.
97 and 98 units DO NOT WORK in 93-96, the units that came factory in all 96 mark VIII's look exactly the same as 97-98, but ARE NOT the same internally, the plugs, cases, and guts are all different. if you think you have a 97-98 unit in your 93-96, it has to be a 96 factory unit. i'll say it again, 97 and 98 EATC's will fit into a 93-96, but the plugs on the back are not the same, so it cannot work electrically. i have a 96 eatc in my 93 mark, but it looks like i have one from a second gen in it, thats because the face is the same, but the rest of the unit is not, it wont work in a second gen either, they dont interchange.
if you put a 97-98 unit into a 93-96 the display will not light up and the blower fan will go to full blast automatically and you cant adjust anything.

also another side note, if you run a 96 eatc in your 93-95, the high speed on the fan sucks compared to 93-95, it actually feels like it blows medium speed when it is actually on high, thats why i am taking the 96 unit back out and putting in a 95 eatc.
