see the prob with ford warranty, is ford "calls" some of the parts back that are replaced under warranty. if they test it and its ok, they kick the claim, so then the dealership has to eat the cost of the part, the labor time for replacement and diag etc, basically anything billed under the claim. so they wont just throw parts at it cuz you want them too.
VA as for them wanting to charge extra to swap out the other coils while they are doing plugs, is bs, they gotta remove them anyway to change the plug, and your paying for that service so there should be no extra charge (except for the coils you wanted to change)
