Need help from Tech part number exchange

I need to know if I can use ABS module 1W43-2C219-CC IVD on my 2000 LS. My current module is XW43-2C219-DC IVD. Also, I was told that after I change modules I will have to take the car to a Ford gargage to get the ABS module reflashed. Is this correct? Thanks for your help.

i dont know if they will swap but ford will have to upload the setup from your old module, swap them and download it to the new one

Thanks for the info. I am about ready to buy the other module and give it a try. It is from a 2002 sport with TCS and IVD.

The new module works great. As soon as I turned the car on the TCS and brake warning lights went away. After about 30 seconds the ABS warning went away. I took the car out and drove it for 8 miles. No problems.
