Ever since my gear swap my speedo has been so outta wack its not even funny. This is reeking havoc on my tranny aswell. Will any of those electronic programmers work on my Mark?

call dalllas mustang they sell a calibartor that will work. we use one on the 94 5 speed. then we used our gps to get it close. using the gps an setting the dip switchs took both of us to do it. we got it to where we lost 4tents in a 1126 miles. well worth the money. will be able to change it when i go to 373s . also this gave us back the use of the speed control and computer gas mileage read out. plus getting the engine to pull like it should. the gas mileage is 27+ at 70+ taint bad. for a mark.

I was going to say why don't you use a speedo gear but then I forgot you have 4.56 gears. Are you using any speedo gear at all right now?

Thanks for the replies guys. :)

Why don't you just get a SCT or Granatelli tuner?
You know, I also considered one of these, but I want sure if would work on my car though. They are also kind of pricey, so Id perfer not to go that route. But if I have to....

the referance to gps . we wanted to get the speedo as close as possible. d/m will send a chart that will tell you the setting of the dip switchs i think there are 8 switchs that you can set. the chart is wheel size, gear ratio to pin setting. but to get it damm close take a hand held gps and a long stright road and a helper. the gps will give you speed and distance traveled. play with the switchs to get it right on the money. as tire wear will play a factor in what the final switch setting will be. jd
