I have no idea why I never registered for this forum. I am a forum whore, and I have had my car for about 9 months now.

Anyways, its an 04 Ultimate. I think it is pretty well optioned. The only things I don't have are the DVD entertainment, and the factory satelite radio. I have the nav, hids, reverse sensors, rear heated seats... all that. I have tinted the windows, put on some BFG 245/45/ZR17s, and started covering up the wood.

I came from a WRX Wagon to the Lincoln. White I like teh car, I miss the wagon. The Lincoln likes to toy with my emotions randomly. I also have an 07 Yamaha R6 and a few other vehicles.

Anyways, I am a man of pictures, not words. I am a semi-pro photographer.

Thanks for looking! I'm glad I finally signed up here.

Here are some pics of it.

Stock. My friend is driving it. Retard should have rolled the windows up. The car was 4 days old when I did this shot I think.

Another stock shot. This was the day I got it I think.

A more current shot. 20% tint on all the windows, and 50% on the entire windshield.

You can see the CF material I am covering the wood with. Since I work in a sticker shop, we have CF looking vinyl.

Wow, those are some nice pictures. I really like the first one. Pictures in motion are always hot. Nice car too.

smdandb2,

Those are some awesome pictures! I thought they were from the Lincoln LS brochure.

Great looking car.

Damn I wish I had a camera like that one.

I always liked the wood more, I wish someone would make even more elegant wood styles like cherry or something.

Overall that is a nice and sharp LS.

Well done Justin!
Good use of the frame and surrounding space. You have a good eye for placement and composition.

Nice car too.

What kind of camera and software did you use for those pictures?

Thanks for joining the forum, the more the merrier!

dude nice pictures. what kind of camera? did you use a tripod?

any additional plans?

Great pics.

The wood on the steering wheel clashes with the carbon fiber though

Thanks guys! Its nice to have a place where people appreciate the LS. I belong to a local mostly BMW club, and we went on a cruise last week. In the canyons I was pulling on the M3s and the S2K. They have dubbed me Mr. F1 Driver.

Anyways, I shoot with a Canon 300D Digital Rebel. I have a few lenses. Most of those shots were probably with my 70-200 f/2.8L handheld. I shoot in RAW and use CS2 to process them. I don't really do much to them at all.

As for getting rid of the wood, it was more or less a project I wanted to try. Since I work at a sign shop, we have all sorts of vinyl laying around. I kinda like how the CF looks, I just need to finish it. I did the dash, and kinda stopped there. I replaced the wood shift knob, but I am not sure what to do with the steering wheel. Since I have NAV, my buttons are different than the other LSs. I don't know if I could swap my buttons on to a non-wood wheel. If I can, I am going to buy one. That wood gets HOT IN THE SUN!

As for other mods, I need to get my new mclaren grill painted and get rid of the chrome around the license plate. The only chrome I like are the wheels. I want the rest gone. I have 3 10s in the back, and the ass kind of sags a bit. So I will probably order some Eibachs real soon to see if that levels it out a bit.

I think thats about it!

w00t!

I think Ken (grayghost) did a similar project..getting rid of all of his wood for Carbon Fiber. I *think* Ken also found some one of a kind LS steering wheel that had CF instead of wood.

Ken?

All of the button are interchangable. Just find one all leather black steering wheel and that's it.
