hello everyone, I decided to retire complete in Aug. this is after retiring from the Navy after 22 years of service. Long story short, I started a "handyman" program at my church helping the elderly fix their cars without getting taken by the local shop.

My newest project is a 2000 LS with the 3.9 V8. I need to find a complete timing chain kit and the tools to hold the cam in place. Thank you.

Can you tell me what you used to hold the cams while you we're replacing the chain. I saw on his web site he used a special bar to hold down the cam. Is that required to have to do the job? thank you.
