New Lincoln Owner To Website

Hi, this is my first post to the website... trying to get a feel for useing a fourm... I currently just bought a 02 LSE V8 with 17,000 miles on it all black... I have heard that there is truble with leaking valve cover gaskets on the v8 lse, how big of a problem is this, and any of you that have any info on the matter would be greatly appretiated...

Welcome and nice ride. That's not bad mileage and it looks good for an 02. You 're lucky because those are hard to come by with low miles like that. If you use the search feature and type in valve cover gaskets and then select Lincoln LS in the forum to search, you will find a wealth of information about the topic. I have an 01 sport and had mines done earlier this year. The gaskets are not much and some members done it themselves. If you are mechanically inclined then great but if not shop around and get some quotes. I mine done for like two hundred and something dollars.
