Hello everyone. I am a new LS owner as of 2 days ago. I got a bone stock 06 LS V8 with every option. So far I love it. Ready to do some mods though. What should I run for an intake and exhaust, anyone using the eibach springs? I'd like to change all the lights to LEDs and also need to replace the blown THX speakers in the rear deck. Suggestions?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

gotta love the 06s , as far as intakes i would go with a k and n 57 2562 or if you want something simple get a kkm adapter and put a k and n filter on it, defintely get some hids in it , exhaust wise bassani would be my first choice followed by some magnaflows being second

Black with the chrome wheels. What part of IL are you from? I just moved to FL from Peoria, IL this past September

I emailed KKM asking about an intake and he said that it wouldn't work for mine. I'd have to wait till spring of 2014. The k&n is a bit expensive but may be my only option it looks like

i actually got mine from lsemex for 50 and bought a k and n filter from my job for 40 , it has a nice growl now , the best intake is the 57 2562 , its 217 on amazon , with a sct tuner it will gain a good amount of power otherwise by itself the intake will only be good for sound

Awesome. I ha a SCT Bama tuner for my 2012 mustang. I loved it. What is the SCT price for the LS. I think I paid $380 for the stang

i think 250ish , people buy it from a person named torrie who makes tunes for the ls

Yea not too bad. Now I just gotta find some bassani mufflers and a good shop. Do most guys run no CATs with an x pipe or? I want better flow with a nice deep tone. No hwy drone or super loud obnoxious sound

contact mlara he was selling bassani mufflers and tips for 200 which is a good price , check out his exhaust clip its perfect

You know everyone seems to say that. My butt-dyno and K&N's dyno sheet shows otherwise. I have the ability to compare two '06's side by side; one with the stock air box with most of the bottom removed and a K&N panel filter (hers) and the other with the FIPK (mine). Mine is definitely quicker and revs faster.

thats why i said it , i mean i feel a difference in mine but others seem to say it doesnt give the hp that it claims , how much more hp does it gain since you dyno it

IIRC, K&N says 15.xx. I have the sheet somewhere in my garage......

yea 15.98 something like that , id be intersted to see how much of a difference it made
