Hi Guys and Gals,
I need some help identifying a part but first I wanted to introduce myself. I purchased my 2005 LS V6 with 60k last week and so far I have gone through some of the trouble spots I am aware of before making it my daily driver. I have always liked the LS. When I saw this one for $5k in an estate sale I had to jump on her. I knew these cars have some pain points however I also know they are good cars if you take care of them.
Here is what I've done so far in my first 3 days of ownership.
Replaced myself:
Coils and Plugs
coolant (flush and fill)
oil and filter
brake fluid and pads
fuel filter
air filters (cabin and intake)
pcv valve (and stupid elbow)
Diff Fluid Change
Service at shop:
alignment
New Tires
transmission flush and fill (scheduled late next week)
So right when i was feeling like I had it all wrapped up I noticed a wet spot under the car. I know some coolant came out when I pulled the intake so i did not worry too much.... however it was still dripping. I tracked it down to a plastic nipple on the part shown below. When I inspected it the nipple broke off in my hands....
I found lots and lots of info regarding the v8 and plastic cooling parts to replace however I have not been able to locate this part name or part number....also it looks like the 2 hoses on the side are attached permanently(if not please advise how to remove them). I have been poking around rockauto and other retailers and private sale sites however no one has a picture of the part in question. I am not sure what to order.

I also need to replace the small hose that goes from this piece to the intake as mine has a nipple stuck i it... I am not sure if that is one of the above items either.
Any help is greatly appreciated... also while I have the coolant drained and the wipers and cowling off, I am planning to replace the degas bottle. what else should be replaced? again lots of info on the V8 was found but not much on the V6.
thanks in advance... btw if you guys are better at google-foo please share your search strings. I tried using the Site: and inurl: commands to search only in the LS specific forums. its was hard to sift through the v8/v6 issue with OR statements like V6 OR 3.0 OR ls6 etc.
