dr tranny does work awesome, but you are not supposed to leave it in, its just used to tell you if the tranny is still good or shot, if it makes the shudder go away after about 500 miles or less, then pull the pan, drain the trans and convertor, change the filter and refill with mercon 5, your shudder will be all gone.
I was just about to say that. Good advice Jamie. :)

:) i wouldnt know but i have used this a million times to determine customers trannies being shot or salvagable, i even used it on my deep jewel green 93 too!

good advice...I'll drive it some then drain and fill..

took it out let my 16 year old niece drive it (she's barely 16 and just learning to drive)....lol she kept lighting up the tires accidently every time she accelerated and that trac control light on the dash would light up. I told her to concentrate on controlling that, but she said "but it's so easy to do" haha.

I just walked out and turned the headlights on, and the trunk neon's both came on. Both have heavy condensation..I'll have to pull them both out, dry them out, then see if I can put some silicone or something on it to seal it a little better.

Yea, I live in Corona...you should check out clubmustangempire.com....I am on their alot...and we have another local guy with I think a red 95 mark viii too...we hit the track all the time and have local hangouts.

Sounds good to me.I also have a 92 GT that is pretty much a "roller" right now.

Let me know the next time you hit the track.See about making it there that day.

Thanks for the link. Will check it out.

cool...Think I may hit the track with the mark viii sometime soon for a baseline...why not...my 66 isn't ready yet for the track anyhow

nice find. i spent well over a year looking for mine. picked it up with 54k on it.

wow lux...wish I had your patience. I waited about 2-3 weeks!!

I've been just cruising it around a lot today, and man, it's just so pleasurable to cruise...needs nagging things...front brake job, wheel balancing, but crap, it's a solid car.

beautiful car! thanks for posting pics. I love the P71, makes me miss my Vic Sport.

.......:slam:........dont you miss everything you sell.....and thats a lot :D

sounds about right for the mileage. look into the front end too because theres probably something that will need attention in there too.
