Hey Everyone,

I've done a few things to the LS over the past couple weeks and I thought I would share the pics. I added LINCOLN decals to my already painted calipers. I chose silver to match the wheels. Also keeping me busy was the trunk setup. Before I just had the sub in a normal enclosure with the amp mounted on the back. I purchased the sub enclosure from ebay and got the idea for the amp rack from a guy on this site that used it for a crossover mount. I used the same idea, but mounted my amp on it. The new trunk setup saves a lot of space in the trunk and make it look more professional. I think both mods look awesome. Good or bad let me know what you think.

Looks good man. I saw someone else on here with "LS" and the Lincoln logo on his calipers. They both look good. Can that enclosure be used on the left and the right? How much did you pay for it? I don't think I would have put the decals around the amp but to each his own.

What kind of Decals are those? If they are regular vinyl, I don't think they'll last too long. There is a lot of heat generated when you step on the brakes. They won't burst into flames, but I'll bet they won't stay on there for long either.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the comments. The caliper decals are actually caliper decals made to withstand the heat. I've had them on for about a month with no problems. As for the emblems around the amp, I was thinking the same thing. They don't look too bad in person, but in a picture I see them differently and think I need to get rid of them. Or at least the emblem on the side. The sub only fits on the left side. The guy that made it was on here and could make it on either side. I bought it for $156 on ebay.

With that sub box in there do you still have the clearance to open your spare tire lid easily? If I rememeber the original posts from the guy who made that box, he said it had a 1 cubic foot capacity, right?

DragonDesign....I do have room to lift up the spare tire. I don't have to remove anything. I do have to wiggle it because the sub isn't on it, but hangs over it. Neither the sub box or the amp rack is mounted, so if I had to I could remove it easily. They are "wedged" in place and don't move. As for the sub box being 1 cubic foot, that's what the guy said so I took his word for it. I have no way of checking it or anything. It sounds awesome and looks good so I have no complaints.

P.S. I removed the Lincoln emblem that sits on the side of the amp rack, and it looks much better. I am going to keep the one that says Lincoln.

Good looking set up. Very clean with plenty of room to store other things. I never liked those hugh boxes that take up all your trunk space. This is all a man needs when adding to a factory system IMO.

where can i get those decals? i cant find any that withstand heat.

hey man..... that looks awesome with the amp mounted directly across form the box..... i'm glad to hear that your still super happy with it..... as for the other questions.... I am the one he bought if from..... theres been a ton of different set-ups i've made for the ls, as well as those side boxes, an a few other things.... heres the links to a few threads that have some good pictures of different boxes, set-ups, a trunk lid with screens mounted into it and a few amp rack ideas..... in the first link theres more pictures on the 4th page.... and on the second one theres a link half way down of one of the amp racks......
