Looks good! Hows the gap under the headlights? could you snap a few from diffrent angles to show gap if any. Did you use niteshades by VHT to tint the tails?

Very nice, I hate the LS with tinted tail lights. I rather have the clear red look.

I think either the all red lights look best. Or with a black lincoln, totally black tails that match the paint.

Sorry to say, but I think those tail lights in the OP look like garbage. Doesn't look like they go with your car. And I thought those "rain guards" were for smokers.

I did the lights myself. Used a can of Window Tint colored plastic model hobby paint. To tell the truth I'm not sure if I like it anymore myself. I like the tinted look, but like you guys said, it just doesn't seem to go with the car. I may try some other look, maybe painting the recessed lines to match the car. Still brainstorming that one.

Headlight gap... practically non-existent. Couple pics from when I first got it put on.

Who says they can't be put on just for style?

It is off by just a hair. Its not the actual paint color though as far as I can tell. There's not nearly as much flake in the paint on the bumper as there is on the car. My painter just really underestimated the amount of flake he needed when he mixed the paint.

You can see it here under the camera flash...

Looks sharp even with the "Tinted Tail Lights". When I test drove my LS the windows weren't tinted so I had them done...same concept with the "Tinted Tail Lights". I like the contrast.

i actually like the tinted tails.. i think i'll do that.. although i have no idea what tint paint is... i think it'll look good on with the forest green which is my color LS

I know all about the mis-matching paint thing. The guy who did my McLaren painted it a shade or two too light - even giving him the paint code. Thankfully Ken's painter got the LSE grille much closer. lol

Anyways, the car looks really good!! :Beer

Mine is a "1st gen", and you can get the paint at just about any good hobby store or Ebay.

Thanks for the comments guys. :)

Looks good to me..
I think if you had some dark windows, the taillights would go a lot better. I want to tint my taillights also. I hate completely black taillights about as much as the stock ones are red; a light tinting just to tone down that almost neon red. The stock grille looks a lot better now that the bumper's grille is black. Keep the stock grille, clear the head lights, polish the right one, and paint the bezels to match.

I got my tail lights tinted about a month ago. I love it. The bright red was too much of a contrast.

I dont normally go for the tinted tail lights, but yours look good, nice work.

Bumper looks great as well.

Yeah, it all has to do with how the metallic flake lays that really determines the color match. That's why most body shops like to "blend" in the colors to allow a more natural transition from the new paint to the old. At least this is what my paint guy says. Also, there are usually several variances in the colors as well. It seems that Ford couldn't keep the same paint colors through out the process. When we paint the grilles the painter picks the "standard" variance since the majority of the cars/trucks were painted to that variance.

Hey...works for me!! :D

Oh yeah, I gotta get me some of those rain guards, too!! Hated how the older version always bubbled out and took away from the looks of the car which is why I never bought them.

:Beer

Yeah those look great. Are those the ones that slide into the weatherstrip?Weathertech seems to be the only ones I can find on the web that dont use 2-sided tape but at a c-note for a set of 4, I was wondering if anyone knows of a better deal?
