New Pictures of my LS

Hello fellas. I haven't been very active here as I used to, just been bz with work and everything.

Anyways, I took my LS to carwash yesterday and decided to snap some pictures.

I do need to put those quad tips back on just haven't got around to do it.

Camera is my old Sony DSC-P10

For those who don't know my car, it's a 2001 V6 with auto. It's lowered and the wheels are from Jaguar S-type R 18x8 and 18x9.5. Tire sizes are 245/40/18 and 285/35/18. This is my daily driver mostly for work commute.

One of the better looking LS's on this site. Probably the nicest that is that color. For 172 on the clock and it being that clean = win.

Do you ever rub with that rim/spring/tire package? It looks awesome, wondering how the ride is.


Oh and one more thing, it is begging for an LSE bumper.

Thanks guys. This in not an LSE, it's a regular 00-02 Sport, it just had color matched grill surround and license plate surrounds.

I don't know if I really want an LSE bumper, If I get it I have to get side skirts, new headlights and bunch of other stuff. I like the 00-02 look. These look kind of wider the the newer ones I think.

There is NO tire rubbing anywhere, these wheels fit perfect. Even with 4 people inside there is nothing. The ride is great, nice and solid.

It does have high miles on it but I put them on so I know in what shape it is mechanically.

I don't think that anyone would give me a decent amount of money for this car, they will be scared of the high miles. I rather keep in then let it go for 5 or 6000. I bought this car for $22000 in 2003 and I spent probably that much over the years haha.

When I sold the Magnaflow exhaust the tips went with it. Now I have an 04 stock exhaust. I have some of those same tips I need to have em put on.

That's a good looking jag rim and the car looks very clean!! . Now, for that width in the back, Do you have to have an offset of 50-60mm? I found a set of rims that I have had my eye on for awhile. The back rim size is 18 x 9.5 with a 42mm offset. Would that stick out too far?

Hyelife, I hate you. (like hi hater, not really hate). You're ls is so nice man. I like the jag steering wheel, and 172K is impressive. How do you keep it maintained so well? No catastrophic disasters recently in the mechanical department?

ok, 42mm offset with 9.5" wheel won't work, will stick out badly. needs something 60 or very close which is almost imposible to find.

the car mechanically is very good. The biggest disaster that I had was the tranny went out at around 154000 and I replaced it with another used tranny from 900. Works smoother than my original one.

Love your Lincoln ls. Have you done any kind of engine mods for the V6 in the past to it?

Thanks. I did have a CAI and the intake tube too, I also had magnaflow exhaust. I removed the CAI it was more noise than it was actually doin anything also everytime I put it on something seemed to brake down. The exhaust I removed due to having a ticket, but i did get tired of it quickly anyways.

Now it's so much better quite like this.

Did you buy the gloss black pillars and put them over the original? They look very clean and I am surprised they aren't faded over the years?
