New pipes for the Blue Flame

Yea cutouts sound bad ass but the whole cabin vibrates inside and it gets annoying running them open all the time.

Driller those new fangled West Virginia Road De-Icers look plumb legal to me. Great piece of modern thermal engineering work. I noted that you are also using loud accoustics for additional sonic cleaning of the road surface as well.

:bowrofl:

I struggled with the way I wanted to orient the dumps. The shot above taken looking back towards the rear from the vantage point of the beneath the engine shows the straight shot to the dump valve directly inline with the header collectors. I thought about taking them at a 45 degree angle to the edge of the body line at the lower pinch weld ahead of the rear wheelwell. I thought about just straight back with a 6 to 12" piece of pipe. I thought about no extension at all. Then I told the installer to come off the valve a few inches, make a 45 degree bend towards the outside then a slight turndown and flarecut.

Standing beside it, the acoustic road clearing effect is awe inspiring.

There was a show on TV several months back that had them modifying a Dodge truck and they had a neat looking side exhaust that I wanted to look up. Unfortunately I didn't write down the name of the vendor so I could look more into it to see how well it would fit our cars, but it really looked neat to me as it inset slightly into the body pannel and was all chrome and rectangular. Thanks for sharing, sounds mean. With your gear ratio and in 1st gear, cutouts open you should be able to keep the neighborhood streets nice and clean in any season. Just be careful not to burn down any of our National Parks down there. LOL
