Yes. Some years especially later years had a different wood grain look. Not all are create equal!

knob new at dealer and other places was bout $200.00

u tell me what ur willin to offer, i am puttin it on ebay,, so can let u know, unless u decide u want it before i do that,, will give u that option,, since u been pretty helpful.

I don't think K&N makes an intake system for the LS specifically. There may be one that might fit but at this time they don't make one. So, your only choice from the list above would be the KKM True-Rev Sport Induction Kit.

If I'm not mistaken the wood knobs for the 2000-2002 LS's are different than what is offered for the 2003 and up. Lincoln used the same wood grain pattern for the earlier years.

i know u sell kkm on ur site.. will that change the sound of my engine? expect bout 10hp?

like how it sounds,, not really lookin for a deep race car sound,,lol had that with my gt
 
yeah i installed my own and its very easy and looks amazing. trust me im not "very" good at DIY projects but i managed to do this one perfectly

You should see around 10 HP increase with the KKM. Once you remove the factory air box you will pick up a little more noise under the hood at WOT (wide open throttle). It's not a deafening noise but it sure does sound good. It's a very controlled sound. My only caution is you will experience a decrease in gas milage not from installing the unit but from your right foot being extremely happy. :steering

lol foot gets happy now,, but i try to control those impulses,,lol

yea goin to go with the KKM.

well of to wash my girl,, 2 hr project,,lol

btw this stuff is awesome on all the blakc plastic trim,,keeps it shinny for days.
