New shoes for the Lincoln have arrived!

I'm runnin' the same Hankook's (including size) and love 'em. It's a meaty tire for the LS

Yes, I will have some pics shortly.. Uploading now. :shifty: If I am not doing anything on that day, I will go, but I won't be showing my any means.

Why not? Trust me, your car doesn't have to be perfect; or anything close! The more LSes the better!

BTW, your LS looks very nice!

Thanks guys, and yes I will try to get some more shots from a distance.. :)

I like the Hankooks so far, good traction and handles nicely. I would say there is enough room to go even wider yet.. especially if one is willing to roll a bit of fender.

My LS is my 128k mi daily driver, + being black = one haggard son of a b*tch.. lol Not show quality by any means.. Since the addition of the wheels, I am going to be investing some more time into the quality of the exterior.

Thanks for the compliments, really. :) At first I as on the fence, but my the end of today I am very thankful and wish I had done this a long time ago!! Hahahaha..

I will try to get some more pics up tomorrow.

Looks good!!!!!! I know what you mean with the black, I have to do some serious work on my cars exterior now that winter is almost gone. I may even have to wet sand the car to get some scratches out.

Only thing with wheels like that is probably a PITA to clean once they start getting dirty and some time on them. Other than that they look pretty damn good.

^^^ Aint that the truth^^ I got them wet and it took forever just to get the water off!

First things first, is the semi metallic brake pads have GOT to go!! Hahahahaha! :shifty:

Also, been wetsanding, polishing, buffing.. like mad.. The paint is so much cleaner that you can see every defect.. like the 10's of thousands of rock chips on the hood.. :( Just got keep chiseling..

This is why you clean and put a few layers of sealant on before mounting. Of course, you can do it after mounting the wheels too, just easier if they are off the car. If you have a True Value near you, go get a bottle of Rejex sealant. Really durable stuff. Or if you have a Carquest nearby, pick up Duragloss 501 and Duragloss 105. 501 is an excellent cleaner and prep for the 105. This makes the wheels a LOT easier to clean, and the water will bead up and fall off the surface. I also use Duragloss 951 (Aquawax) as a drying aid. Makes it SUPER easy. It's a quick detail spray that you use when the surface is wet.

That's good information Pektel. I'm going to do that to my Chrome Sentas before I have tires mounted on them.

I took your advice.

Took a couple of True Value's but I found it. 16oz for 21.00 We don't have a carquest, so I haven't been able to find the Duragloss.

On another note, I did treat one wheel.. Estimated time, one hour. :shifty:

I normally spend a couple evenings on mine in the spring.

Remember, SUPER THIN is key. It makes removal a lot easier.

Not only will they look better after sealing, but they should feel noticeably slicker, making it harder for stuff to stick. Future cleanings will be much easier.

The lighting right there is epic. Is that street lamp effect?

That does look awesome man those wheels look great. Do you just have your amber corners removed? What kind of bulb are you using then?
