New to me Lincoln Mark VIII

I just got an 93 model and its a little rough around the edges, but I think it will make a nice car with some work.

The car runs like a top and only has 70K miles on it. The interior needs a lot of work and it needs paint. It's going to be a nice little project. I know there not worth a lot of money, but I really like the way they look. Plus the car was giving to me so I'm in it real cheap. LOL.

Now I've got to find where I can get some seat skins to help the interior out.

Geno is the man for performance Lincoln specific parts though, so definately give him a call if you're looking for a little more umph!

Your headlights look like crap, there are tech articles about dissasembling the headlights and cleaning them up to help with light output. Use the search function at the top to find them, search is your friend, asking questions that have been asked before have a tendancy of getting people griped at around here.

Stay away from Frogman, he's kind of a crotchity old fart that likes to chew people a new one from time to time.

Jamie97lsc, is in florida and dismantles a lot of Mark VIII's for replacement parts, he may be able to help you out on those headlights, he's been known clean a set and sell them, then take yours as a core and do the same again.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you have thick skin and a lot of patience, you're going to need them to be a Mark VIII owner.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm new to this forum, but not forums in general. I've already been searching and just lurking around.

The poor car has lots of little issues. It's been sitting for a couple of years with just being started up every now and then. I drive it a little, but it's a project for me.

I headlight look real bad, but they will be coming out real soon. I've got a race car to finish first then I'll spend my weekends on this car.
