Hi guys! Greg from Ohio, just recently purchased my first automatic daily (lucky for me I still have select shift). I have a 2006 Lincoln LS Sport, without the Navi Premium package sadly. I picked up my beaut from an auction for a very low price, and I'm pleased as I have not come across any issues and I have a very smooth Tranny. I do plan some mods, and would love some tips and advice for my LS journey! Thanks for checkin out the car and feel free to drop some inspiration LS pics!!

I'm the kind of LS enthusiast who'll stare at an LS harder than something exotic (true story as I saw a silver 00-02 LS next to a Nissan GT-R when I was downtown, guess which one got more attention from me). These pictures simply do not do justice at all, as I saw one just like yours a few years back, and my God it was beautiful.

I'm not sure how your LS in particular would look with a sort of Euro look to it (amber markers inside headlight into a clear marker, overlaying the red portion of the tail light black, so it's black and white). Halo rings (of course) and some better looking exhaust tips (as a cosmetic thing). Bigger money can be spent on marginal performance addons such as a tune and a CAI, if you're so inclined. Before you do any of this, do make sure maintenance is done with your car. Nothing is sadder than seeing such a car lifted on jack stands.

Thanks for takin the time to comment, I'm not sure about the hids thinking about putting halogen fogs back in, and I definitely plan on ordering the rings and installing them myself.
The only thing is when it's decently hot outside, ac does not work well. Sometimes it honestly feels like it is blowing hot air. The car was owned by someone elderly and they garaged it every winter. Sad thing is the only thing they did to it was change the oil, and there's no other records. Haven't paid for any reports yet though. I really want to put in a double din so I can use an aux cord. One issue i do have though is my left side mirror puddle light will not work. Paid $26 for a new one and nothing, maybe something electrical? Everything else in the drivers door works

I think most of us here would appreciate matching the proper bulbs with your housings as to not blind everyone else. But:

The car was owned by someone elderly

An elderly person put HIDs in halogen housings? That's new to me, but I guess the elderly are getting closer and closer to current ricer mods...

I'm sorry LSFrank, I meant I put them in, that was my only mod made . He just kept the car super clean. Everything is nice underneath

I sure the fact that the R35's are one of the ugliest cars out there! lol

I have the H11 HID bulbs , it says it fits n it's plug n play. Do the fogs need a reflector if I have hid? Honestly I don't like the color and I plan on taking them out

use LED, they wont be bright enough to blind oncomming traffic like HID's would...

I love the white waggs! And the chrome rims are a nice touch, are those factory? And do big of your lights under your side mirrors work?

@1LoudLS I ordered a new OEM puddle light and plugged it in with no change, still no light. Not sure how it ties into the fuses, looked thru the manual and I can't find anything

if you have just one that is out, its probably not a fuse as they are linked with other lights too. at that point, you may have a wiring problem that needs to be addressed

Awesome lol, yeah it's crazy. That is the only light on the whole car that doesn't work, even all the lights for the driver door controls work. Am I gonna have to take a look into the DDM or is it something in the side mirror?

The DDM is not involved with the puddle light. It is controlled by the FEM. Check the wiring from the FEM to the mirror. I would start by taking the interior door trim off and testing at the mirror connector to see if the problem is before or after.

Would I be able to look up the locations? I am very new to how electrical this LS is . What is the fem?

FEM = Front Electronics Module.
It's behind the driver's side kick panel, at the floor.

Front Electronic Module (its the silver module in the drivers kick area)

and when it comes up the REM is the Rear Electrical Module (behind the carpet on the pass side of the trunk)

Thanks guys, now should I be looking for either a burnt end somewhere or?

Long answer: google both bolt patterns

Short answer: 5x108 5x120
