Im new to the site, an cant find much of anything on where the fuel pump is located on a 88' lincoln LSC V8, on the motor? or in the tank??
anywho, thats the car im goin to look at this weekend, its all black, maroon leather interior, onlything wrong with it is a new fuel pump has to be install, which owner has for me. But Id like to know if its on the motor, cuz if so, ill just put it on when i get there, an test the car. Was told guy never had any promlems other then whwn the fuel pump went. Was his wifes car, but she passed away. so I can get it for $300 cash. let me know.thanks

The fuel pump is located at the top of your fuel tank. You'll need to make sure you have a new new lock ring and gasket and be careful when dropping the tank or you could break the plastic lines.

yes im in blackwood nj, an also mt ephraim NJ, ( girlfirends) thanks for the info guys! hopefully i get this car!!!!

i always wondered why the LS got a performance section and not the Mark VII

I think its cause we have no Mark VII owners here. Its a shame cause they are great cars.
Thing with a Mark VII is if it works on a Fox Stang then there is a good chance it will work on a VII.

The VII is what made me get into the VIII. I always loved the VII's until the VIII came out and then I was in love. Anyway, I got what I always wanted even though it took 11 years of waiting and $38 grand cheaper lol.

Seems like almost everyone on here lives in Jersey. I think I'll stick with Bama. I never see snow and Winter don't last very long either.

i movin very soon...goodbye jersey.

and mark vii's is also what made me get a mark viii...

I had 6, maybe more mark vii's, a special edition black on black lsc clone that i had lots of money into and i put a tremec tko600 5speed in it, fun car. i parted it for the mark viii. once i had a gen 1 i was hooked..then i got the 97..and i couldnt be happier with it.

i have an 86 mark vii LSC, it has 277,000 miles on it now and it still runs great-HO 302's are much easier to work on, and my 7 got me interested in the M8. Both are great cars.

There were quite a few that I showed this site to when it first came about that posted for a short time. They just wound up staying on either FordvsChevy.com or LincolnsOnline.com

Others, like me, just moved on.
