Hey everybody. New to the site. I recently bought a 98 LSC to do a 4v swap in my 01 GT. Brought it home and fell in love with it and just cant bring myself to part it out. Its too nice. So Ive been lookin around online and on here and I came across the cobra star emblem. Now ive done some searching, and as far as I can tell im SOL on finding a set. but I thought just maybe some one new some one or had a set layin around that they would be willing to part with. Thanks in advance to anyone. And a lot of you guys got some pretty awesome cars. Looks the the mustang will be takin a back seat for a while!!!

Glad to hear you are going to keep it. There are quite a few guys on here that can sell you a 4valve motor cheap (I am one of them). They really are unique and are becoming rare.

COP can be added to a first gen motor as well.
not incredibly difficult.
different valve covers and some wiring.

Keep your eyes peeled for a set on ebay from time to time. However be prepared to pay a pretty penny. Especially since they are not just obsolete but they are not made out of plastic. They are made out of metal. Gorgeous finish. I have 2 sets & I refuse to put them on my Lincoln just because I'm afraid someone will rip them off.

As for your 4v swap? Just did that last year with my step dad to his '00 GT. However it was my 8th Mark VIII & the body was beyond expired. These Lincolns are diehard! Gotta look for one that's beat up aesthetically but with a babied drivetrain like we did...... but definitely keep that Lincoln!
