Nice While It Lasted

Wow that's exactly my car.

I'm not sure where you got your numbers from. You could of easily fixed it for like $500 and sold it for $4k.

Coils and plugs for $500 or less, but cooling system for $500 to $1000. Unless there are serious other issues, I would have fixed it. It's hard to get a car of this kind for less than $1500.

Someone should go pick this up for a song and fix it!!! Offer them $2K and I'll bet they'll bite!!!!

All right folks, the man made his decision. At least he didn't swap it for a <shudder> Kia.

Besides, it may not be all bad. Rog, would you be so kind as to post Stan's address?

You will want to contact Stan Lukasik at Stan's Towing and Salvage located on Wicker Ave in St. John, IN.

A google search will bring up their phone number (no email).

Good Luck and many happy driving miles to you.

On a more positive note. I was able to return for a full refund (+$500) all the new replacement parts that I was planning on installing over the next couple of months. All that remains is a coolant stain in my driveway. Now just have to find something new to buy.

Wow, I'm new here and have already laughed harder than I ever have at a forum post. Cheers mate

Add the need to have the AC system rebuilt ($$$$), "chrome" peeling off all the plastic trim (Arizona heat), rear pass door lock actuator (so the grandkids don't fall out)...plus numerous other problems typical of this car. I wouldn't wish, let alone sell this car to anyone.
