I just orderd vcg's Motorcraft plugs and coils. I'm used to temp controlls being slide dials and fan speed knobs can someone tell me what temps they use and fan speeds for NE region. I was running 70 on auto with low fan speed and the temp seemed cool. I will keep adjusting with it. Also if I put it on Floor and Defrost the AC light comes on,Is this normal?

Set it to whatever temperature you like best and leave it there. Yes, the compressor should be on for defrost. Really, you should leave the compressor on all the time, even in the middle of winter.

Joe, that's an interesting info. Can you elaborate on why? Is it the same thought I had about turning the heat on periodically during the summer?

Keeps the oil circulating in the AC system, dehumidifies the air inside the car, and (when it's cold) takes very little power (fuel use) from the engine. The compressor is variable displacement, so if the cooling demand is very low, then so is the amount of power used by the compressor.
