Chicago is NOT a wonderful city. It's a craphole of a police state, and I can say this with enough authority, having been born there.
And I am there 6 to 10 times a year and looking to buy an investment property in the Loop. The market is undervalued, and should bounce back big time... Because it is a great city, not only in the US - but it is also ranked as one of the world's great cities....
And I would rather own property in downtown Chicago than downtown Louisville... I certainly think Chicago will increase the most in value in the next 5 years.
Foss - do you think like Ms Palin? That perhaps there are places that are more 'pro American' - Is that why you are so anti-Chicago? I was excited that a great American city was bidding on the Olympics - and I am still disappointed that we didn't get it.
