Obama Cabinet Member Experience

I knew it sounded weird - it is hard to find numbers that back up the fact though - it is good we have something like Politifact, there is no way an individual can easily find those things out, and you are left with a 'chart' that looks suspicious, but you can't attack it directly. That is what a lot of people hope to do with something like this - look good, preach to the choir, and know that it will be difficult to challenge the information. At least Cembalest has backed down. Thanks Johnny...

What's the matter, fox, cat got your tongue?

BTW, Politifact has already been discredited as a source on this forum. Huffpo has a better reputation.

Foss - why was I worried - I happen to think that a good 'mix' between people who have experience in the private sector and public sector is probably the best for the cabinet make up. This chart made it look like it was 10% in the private sector - not very good.

However, since now it appears (and, in case you didn't notice, the creator of the chart has even admitted that he was wrong!!!!) that the make up of Obama's cabinet is probably more in line with other administrations - I don't need to worry as much - do I?

And here comes Johnny and his little fact checking game that STILL MISS THE POINT.

Private sector exerience.

You conveniently (failed as usual) to bold the only two statements that really matter in this regard...

Speaking of Cembalest:
But he added that the kind of private-sector experiences Chu and Donovan had (managing scientific research and handling community development lending, respectively) did not represent the kind of private-sector business experience he was looking for when doing his study.

"What I was really trying to get at was some kind of completely, 100 percent subjective assessment of whether or not a person had had enough control of payroll, dealing with shareholders, hiring, firing and risk-taking that they'd be in a position to have had a meaningful seat at the table when the issue being discussed is job creation," Cembalest said.

Pucking lawyers don't count unless you consider scamming their time-sheets to falsely charge 'Billable" hours executive experience when concerning job creation skills.

You are so full of fail that I'm putting you on my ignore list. I actually can't ignore you as a admin as I am forced to look at all posts, but ignoring you will be easy.

Tsk, tsk, fox, you don't have to yell like some 5 year old.

So, if it doesn't have much to do with anything, why is it worrisome? Why do you 'happen to think' that?

Are you or are you not worried? Tsk tsk, fox, make up your mind. You're all over the place.

Yes, how convienient it was that Cembalest cherry-picked *certain* private sectors to qualify his analysis. You pitiful RWW fall for any amount of BS, not surprizing after 8 years of brown-nosing BuSh, "don't shoot me bro" Cheney and "they don't need any more support at Tora Bora" Rumsfeld.

If you haven't run a business, you don't know jack sh!t about running a business. OK?

Or are you one of those intellectuals that think they know everything because they read it in a book.?
You gotta get out and do. Try and fail.

I lost a huge deal this morning. Got super depressed. Decided to jump back in and attack instead of quit. Might have landed a bigger one 4 hours later.

This Country is down on it's ass and O-bow-ma and his minions don't have a clue how to fix it. The sad fact is they don't want to fix it. They want to destroy it and sadly, dudes like you support morons like this administration. So go ahead and go off with your Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld rants. They didn't get everything right, but I'll settle for the 80% they did. Right now, Obama is batting ZERO.

The JOB CREATORS in this Country aren't Professors and Lawyers that decided to start a company with all their profound intellect. No, those guys stay in their ivory towers and pontificate.

Real world experience is what it will take to restore this Country. We NEED successful business leaders to take over this Country and get rid of all the bureaurocrats and lefties that have no clue.

Obama admitted today in his 'jobs summit' speech that he really doesn't know how to stimulate job growth.
