(CNN) — It appears Barack Obama's teleprompter is hitting the campaign trail.

The Democratic presidential nominee has never tried to hide the fact he delivers speeches off the device, though normally he doesn't use one at standard campaign rallies and town hall events.

But the Illinois senator used a teleprompter at both his Colorado events Monday — making for a particularly peculiar scene in Pueblo, where the prompter was set up in the middle of what is normally a rodeo ring.

The only way he can pass himself off is if someone else writes the words for him to read.

Obama has no future as POTUS but maybe he could take Katie Courics job.

If being a good speaker is now a dire qualification for being president, then your hero Bush shouldn't have been in the Oval for the last 8 years, no?

McCain was using hand held cards (can't remember which one, it was fairly recent, I'll look it up) and he was having trouble getting through it. So swing that jugdemental pendulem your way.

We'll see though, the debates are coming up shortly, if Obama is such a bumbling fool, it can only be good news for your side.

McCain is more liberal than the typical Republican and never wore his faith on his sleeve.
Perhaps he finds religious voters "useful" to win the presidency.
And Palin took on her own party like McCain which gives them a natural bond.
McCain gets the base lining up behind him enthrauled with their Warrior Princess VP candidate while still being the RINO suit closet liberal.

And let's not forget that it was Huckabee who ultimately set all this in motion.
By hanging in there longer than he normally would have
he scuttled Romney's(whom he dilikes to put it mildly) bid
allowing McCain to win.
Now McCain picks Sarah Palin as VP and Huckabee seems particularly pleased.
At first I thought it ironic that Huckabee got non religious McCain elected candidate, but now it all seems brilliant if this outcome was what was ultimately going on in his head.

her killer good looks and her accomplishments made her
an instant star.
I saw part of that McCain Palin town hall meeting and the
hockey moms were totally fawning over her, almost embarassed to ask her questions about foreign policy experience which ended with "I'm sure you are"
They totally accepted her short assurances that she was ready. At one point she called herself blessed.
They were in awe.
To a lot of people this is the Palin-McCain ticket.

I trust McCain on foreign policy. He's going to be the President anyway, if elected, not Palin. And even if he buys the farm, Palin can always borrow some of Obama's THREE HUNDRED foreign policy advisors.

I don't care about her lack of foreign policy experience either. I was just commenting on how people were reacting to her and this was the question some woman asked.
She said she was ready and invited the audience to ask her specific foreign policy questions which of course no one did.
The atmosphere was really very friendly.
There seemed to be a lot of smiles.

Why can't you just say that McCain's timely sensational VP pic caused you to reevaluate him as a candidate and so you changed your mind because he surprised and impressed you.
