Odometer/Tripometer

How do you fix a odometer and a tripometer if they just stop counting? Both of mine dont work. Thanks.

First I would check speedo cable and drive gear. Most likely what the problem is.

I have a similar question for my 91 lincoln towncar executive
I noticed my odometer isn't working but the speedometer and trip meter work fine.

any ideas?

in case you are asking I am dumb as far as cars go. I can turn the key and drive it that is all.
