After looking at this map.... I would run I74 from Indy -> I80 around davenport and hit 61 up to boscobel.

That's the way I take ...
They are working On the I-80 bridge which crosses the Mississippi at the Quad Cities. So pay attention to the traffic ...
Route might be quicker through Rock Island and crossing the river in town.
The bridge will only be a problem on the way home. Iowa bound is open and Il bound is closed but It may be open by the party. Ill let everyone know.

How many non markviii LOVING women will be there? I'm not asking for me obviously, but for Stacie. I'm trying to keep this whole thing fun for her, but I know how I am.
I'll get sidetracked with someone on a car or conversation. (or mine and Frogman's planned highjinks), and I don't want her to feel left out.

There are things that non-car people can do .. they could take Shane's Milan and go to the chicky things ...
If you guys want I could give a list of things for wives to do.
We have a bunch of Wineries that they could tour ... I could even set up a Limo Tour of the wineries on Saturday for them instead of the cruise. I think there is a guy who will do it for a $100 for the afternoon. Not bad split between 4 or 5 women.

And I almost positive that They would love the whine trip...But they couldnt take the Milan because A) Shane wont let them drive it B) they cant drive stick.....

Good to hear the girls are coming ... I'm sure that as more wives and sig others start attending that they will find more things to do. Heather said she like going on the cruise and liked that we stopped in a town to walk around a bit last year. I did add that for the wives. She suggested some of the other area small towns.
If we take the cruise that includes the ferry then we could stop in a few little towns along the way. Guttenburg, IA or McGreggor, IA both has some nice shops and places to grab a bite to eat.
But I am also throwing around the idea of heading more north this year also (I'm thinking with the ferry only able to handle maybe 6 to 10 cars that it may take too much time waiting for everyone to cross the river.
I have access to 2 compressed air cannons!

My wife doesn't care about cars at all. First cruise was last year, she had a blast driving around with everybody.

I do try for the cruise to make an activity that all could enjoy.
It's hard for Friday night to do that for me.
But I'm working on it. It's a shame we don't have any local establishments that are favorable to dancing or something like that where they could go and have some fun, in case they get bored with us. LOL ..
