Oil in my spark plug holes

So today I fixed my valve cover leak. When I pulled the cover off for the COP I noticed some oil in the bottom of the valve cover. I didnt worry to much but when I pulled the first COP I seen a little oil on the rubber once i looked down the holeI see its full of oil. I pulled the other 3 and each of them had oil in them. This is on my 2001 3.9 on the passanger side of the car. when pulled the cover off the drivers side there was no oil.How or why is this and how can i make it so it dont dont do it any longer.I replaced all the gaskets in my kit all the little O rings and put RTV at the front cover where its required.Well today i have no oil leak that makes me happy butI still worry about it leaking in to my plug holes and fouling out the plug

That oil comes from the valve covers leaking, sounds like you fixed it!

I've run my 01 V6 for years with oil in the plug wells, The heat generally degrades the rubber boots. You can buy replacement boots on Ebay cheap. I use a suction device to suck out any oil in the wells and replace the boots. As said already the oil comes from the gaskets leaking oil into the wells.
