oil pan

i got an old one too, thats the problem. looking for something new or very close to. if all else fails i'll just try yo redo my old one.

I do?

If you do restore and old one I would recommend POR15 to seal it up from rusting further.

Isn't there a site out there selling pans for 96 cobras... wouldn't that fit?

dont fit, mustang pans dont clear the K member........ours got a reservoir looking thing on the side for the additional capacity.............

i have a 97 pan in great shape, but its still on the motor and will be till this weekend, florida rust free car!

I think everyone knows that.... you ran off crying like a 5th grade girl when you made a thread about it :D

as of 2/18/09 still on back order....156 pieces at supplier awaiting tooling and 1 component part.

That's good to hear, Max. Any idea on what their approximate price will be? Thanks!

the dealer always says they are avail, but then you when you say ok get me one then, they say oh we cant find one, those pans havent been avail in quite some time, just like the hid's are available too lol!

I got the same info as mrzeee when my new oil pan started leaking (new ones were back ordered, I think it was about 175 or so awaiting tooling...), it was only a week wait after that till I did get one though, so hopefully it works out the same for anyone that orders one and they don't have to wait to long...

i missed out on that pan from jamie. i've been looking, but cant find anything. anyone else know anything on where i might be able to find one? or maxx you got any updates on the ones you were waiting for?

I had one of the good ones from Jamie. He did have another, unless it's sold now?

What can I do about my pan - it's got a bunch of rust on it...

Any ideas of salvaging it? DO I just need a new pan?
