i'm almost positive you don't.....i think the guy custom made it....its like a grand am bumper
 
I think its a top half of a mark VIII bump and the bottom portion is off a grand prix. Also that hood is custom made. Sick looking . Would love to have something like that on my gen 1.
 
That definitely makes the Mark VIII look a little more "updated". I like the looks a lot.
 
It is a grand am bumper (lower) and custom hood.

You can do the search at Markviii.org, he posted it there originally. Took him 20 some hours to customize the bumper, I'm not sure how long he spent on the hood.

Best looking Markviii going. Add the custom spoiler that the admin has on his at this site, and you would have the ultimate mark.

Of course, that is if you had a Gen 2. Gen 1's look girly. :p
 
I think the tinted headlights make that car. The wheels are a close second. 99% of people would never notice the hood or bumper. No one ever says anything about my hood, although its not 1 off like his.

I tell ya, I would put a mortage on my house to go buy that car! I absolutly love it! I prefer black interiors but the black exterior with a tan interior has a classy look to it.
 
The head lights aren't tinted... He separated the housings and painted the interiors
 
:lol: I would like to try and find out more about it. I could live without the hood but I would like to duplicate the bumper. If I can find out exactly what model and year bumper it is I can have it made for under a grand I think. Since my front bumper has two gashes on it anyway and is scraped to hell on the bottom it would be worth it.
 
i think it was a 98 gt, i had a prix bumper i was gonna toy with but it would need tooo much work to fit (prix waaaay too wide) and scrapped the project before cutting into mine
 
People always comment on our hood on my car.

We tried to get a gen 2 hood going to no avail. It's funny how people always want one yet when it's time to do it no one ponies up the loot. My glass Guy said no problem too. Strange market.
 
The owner is a member on that other site, I think he was trying to get a mold made so he could mass produce the bumper. It has been a long time since Ive been on that site so I don't know if this is still in the works. Why not send a message give your support, who knows this product might actually make it to production. I didn't like the gen2 cobra R hood, but I do like this bumper and I hope that this one is still in the works.
 
That hood only looks good on the gen1s in my humble opinion, the gen2 needs something different. Something that says this is not a gen1 this is a gen2 look at it and drool.
 
Alright it is Really 2 bad that we Could not Get Enought people to Get the Gen 2 Cobra R Hood Going, Would Change the Car so much and make it look that much Better.. Come On Guys..
