I left my property this morning on the 275HP (why do they rate truck tunes in HP, anyways!?!) tune. It snowed about 5 inches last night. Very dry snow due to the cold. Wind picked up about 0200, and I ended up with snow drift after snow drift all the way to the highway.
The 275HP tune's torque was a little too much for all that snow and kept losing traction in 4WD. Now, some of it has to do with the tires, but the old 210HP tune was just right. This 65 extra ponies... not so much. I didn't want to stop, so I kept on plowing. The ~100 gallons in the bed of the truck helped with my momentum as well, I'm sure.
I packed the front bumper as well as the grille with snow. Ugh. It still hasn't melted.
All of the snow in front of the grille and behind the rope is packed inside the bumper. It was FULL.
Yes, the new bumper won against the snow. It's taken down Elk and deer, but never snow. Now, it's been fully seasoned. Hah!
Ok, nap time.
